International Conference:
«The European Union and Belarus: Getting closer for better future»

Dear colleagues!

On behalf of BSU Jean Monnet Center of excellence I would like to announce the launch of the second international Conference "The European Union and Belarus: Getting closer for better future" to held at BSU on June 2, 2016.

The aim of the conference is to give an academic reflection of European integration studies and thus to raise awareness and to enhance knowledge of students, researcher, teaching staff members, experts and a broad Belarusian public in the sphere of contemporary development of European Union.

The Conference is a great forum for debates on EU related topics which will unite different stakeholders comprised the following types of target groups: representatives of Belarusian State Authorities (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Economy, Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, National Agency of Investment and Privatization, National Centre of Legal Information of the Republic of Belarus, etc.); representatives of International and European affiliated structures in Belarus which primary goal is promotion of collaboration with EU, Embassies of EU member states accredited in Belarus (EU delegation in Belarus, EU-Belarus Business Council, National Tempus Office in Belarus, National Coordinating Unit of the EU TACIS Program in Belarus, Office of European Expertise and Communications, French-Belarusian Centre for European Studies, Centre for Swedish Studies and Centre for International Studies in Minsk, Centre for German Studies of the BSU, etc.); representatives of Belarusian public sector who engaged in EU related research (Information and Educational Programs «Evolutio», NGO «Foreign Policy and Security Research Centre», Centre for International Studies of the BSU, etc.); Belarusian academic and research community represented by teachers and students of all level of education, researchers from universities and Academy of sciences of Belarus; representatives of EU academic community.
